Entered profession in 1982
After qualification, Mark worked in industry for five years at a major consumer products multinational. He spent a year in the USA and gained direct experienceof dealing with the United States Patent Office. Since joining UDL he has worked with a number of companies in the chemical industry, particularly in relation to petroleum, pharmaceutical and home products chemistry. Mark has a detailed knowledge of extension of term regulations and filing worldwide. He also works on trade marks and has a large practice before OHIM and the UK Registry. He has been a partner since1994. He sits on the Professional Practice Committee of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys. Mark is the firm's main liaison with companies and firms in India.
