If you are a finalist level or recently qualified attorney this could be the opportunity for you. We are looking for people with an extra spark and the ability to identify and build relationships with our clients.

You will have a varied caseload and be involved in a full range of patent and design matters, including drafting, filing, prosecution and enforcement, with work from the UK and overseas. There is a high degree of autonomy in the role, with the opportunity to establish your own profile, take on considerable responsibility and have extensive direct client contact. Assistance to achieve qualification will be provided if needed.

A first degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline is sought.

Trade Mark Secretary
Based in Milton Keynes

This position is to support the team of Trade Mark attorneys based in the Milton Keynes office, but with particular responsibility for a member of our attorney team who works remotely for part of the working week.

The job holder will act as the key contact for that attorney and will have specific responsibility for ensuring that the attorney is able to function effectively, both in the office and when working remotely. This will require a very good level of communication and an ability to identify and understand key issues as they arise. A basic understanding and some practical experience of the trade mark system is therefore an important requirement for this role.

Patent Secretary
Based in Milton Keynes

This position is to support the Patent and Trade Mark attorneys based in the Milton Keynes office. The job holder will be required to perform tasks assigned by the attorneys in accordance with the level of training, skills and abilities of the job holder. The job holder will also be expected to acquire a broad understanding of the legal framework underlying the patent and trade mark system, and of the work, aims and objectives of the business.
