Prior to joining UDL, Cerian spent 11 years as a lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Alberta, Canada. Her teaching covered a broad range of computing and software topics, including intellectual property issues pertaining to IT. During that time she also worked as a technical consultant aiding the design of web-based software projects for medium to large corporations. She joined UDL in 2007, and is currently developing her patent experience in general, while specialising in protection of software and computer-related inventions.
