Ian joined UDL after graduating from Manchester University, where he obtained a masters degree in Physics. Ian specialises in mechanical and electrical patents, particularly in the fields of telecommunications, oil and gas and renewable energy. Ian drafts and prosecutes patent applications for a wide range of local SME's and has experience of obtaining patent protection in a large number of countries through the Patent Cooperation Treaty.
