Mark joined UDL as a trainee and has been with UDL throughout his entire career, managing first our Swansea office and subsequently our Cardiff office since 2003. He has been a partner since 1999. Mark's practice is primarily in patent drafting and prosecution worldwide, particularly in the engineering and medical fields. He also practices in Trade Marks and Designs. Mark has experience in advising clients on IP aspects of commercial relationships with third parties, including joint development agreements. An increasingly active area of Mark's practice is in relation to freedom to operate advice in respect of competitor rights.
