Post-election Brexit update

Following the results of the UK general election, it seems certain that the UK will formally leave the EU on 31 January 2020.

A transition period will follow, which is currently set to run until 31 December 2020. During this time, there will be no change to the current laws or arrangements. This transition period could be extended.

Whatever the timescale and whatever the final Brexit deal, UDL Intellectual Property will continue to be able to represent and act for you in all of your European IP matters, whether patents, trade marks or designs.

Please contact your usual UDL adviser if you have any questions or if you would like to discuss any specific IP implications for your business.

See our dedicated Brexit page for more information and FAQs.
