13 UDL patent and trade mark attorneys recommended in The Legal 500 2017

UDL is celebrating after eight of its patent attorneys and five of its trade mark attorneys were ‘recommended’ in The Legal 500 2017.
Partners Andrew Alton, Alan Jones, Cerian Jones, Martin Neilson, Simon Raynor and Garry Stuttard, along with senior attorneys Nick Burton and Simon Mitchell, have all been recommended for their work in patents.

UDL has been praised for its ‘ability and willingness to dedicate resource when required to support urgent issues’ and for its ‘extremely high’ level of service for international clients in the biotechnology, hi-tech and chemistry and engineering spaces. UDL’s expertise in blockchain technology, led by Cerian Jones, was also highlighted.

Partners Alan Fiddes, Alison Simpson, Ian Byworth and Gareth Price, along with senior attorney Anna Szpek, are all recommended for their work in trade marks.

The team is described as ‘excellent’ and is praised for its ‘good business acumen and industry knowledge’, and for its ‘clear understanding of the way clients use trade marks, which enables it to deliver commercially focused and sensible advice’.
