Arthur’s background lies in electrical and computer engineering. He works with clients on computer-implemented inventions relating to blockchain, cybersecurity, gaming and extended reality, as well as media processing technologies.
Arthur’s electrical engineering degree and subsequent experience working as a software engineer provides him with a solid technical background to help clients with their IP in the software and electronics sectors. He has also worked across a number of other technologies, ranging from software-defined networking to medical devices and wireless power transfer.
Having worked in industry as an engineer, in private practice in New Zealand as a Patent Attorney and in-house to assist a technology transfer office, Arthur is well equipped to understand the different aspects of technology development from his clients’ perspective and assist them to develop their IP portfolios. He is currently training to become a UK and European Patent Attorney.
Arthur entered the profession in 2014 and joined UDL in 2020.
