Edith's areas of expertise include materials chemistry, large molecule and bio-chemistry, drug-delivery and nanoscience technology. Edith’s patent practice includes pesticides; vaccines; drug structure, manufacture and formulation; therapeutic antibodies; cosmetic and industrial formulations; and chemical waste processing.

Edith graduated with a first class MSci degree in Chemistry and was awarded the DSM prize for Inorganic and Materials Chemistry for her final year research project. During her degree, she undertook research into the synthesis of nanoparticle systems for drug-delivery and diagnostics, as well as studying nanoparticle cytotoxicity in vitro.

Edith entered the profession in 2013 and joined UDL in 2014. She is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA).
