Ian is a dual-practising trade mark and patent attorney, specialising in mechanical and electrical patents with particular experience acting in the fields of energy and power tools. He manages the trade mark department in our Newcastle office. Ian is experienced in all aspects of trade mark filing and prosecution, and handles contentious trade mark matters in the UK, European Community and elsewhere.

Ian joined UDL in 2001 and was made a partner in 2016.
